	Maurice, The WVLR’s only French employee and driver of the Ruston 18/20 HP.


	Reg, Accident prone and a complete IDIOT, driver of Criccieth Castle.


	Billy, The WVLR’s Apprentice.


	Eric, Messy eater and driver of Rossie.


	Syd, driver of Dorfold Hall.


	Dennis, driver of Charles and the WVLR’s only disabled employee having lost his right leg due to one of Reg’s little shunting accidents.


	Archie, brakeman and usually found drinking tea in No.2 brakevan.

		Dai Jones “The Brake”, the WVLR’s first Welsh employee and Sanford’s brakeman.

			Chris, the “Real Welder”, maintenance Dept.


	Fred, PW crew, stubborn as a mule and twice as ugly.


	Norman (Nutty) Slack, the WVLR’s coalman.


	Tiddles, one of the WVLR’s resident cats, usually found lurking somewhere.


	Ernie, brakeman, usually found in No.1 brake van on his mobile phone.


	Bert, coal basher.


	Jack, PW crew.


	Dennis’ right leg.


	Dobbin, the WVLR’s first equine employee. Far more intelligent than Reg and usually found riding in the dandy cart at the back of the anti-gravity train.


	Angie, driver of Standish Hall and the railways first female employee.

Bryn Llewellyn, the WVLR’s second Welsh employee and driver of Taliesin.
